The breadth is the point. Fashion resale runs from bulk everyday clothing sold cheaply at volume to individual luxury pieces sold for thousands with full authentication. The same word covers very different economics, which is why the operators specialize.
What unites the category is the core resale challenge in an especially acute form: fashion goods vary enormously in condition, demand, and authenticity, and they can lose relevance quickly. Sourcing, grading, and moving them fast is the whole discipline.
