The Mooselen Index
How the index works. The Mooselen Index tracks the companies shaping the business of resale and secondhand fashion: marketplaces, managed consignment, B2B infrastructure, authentication, rental, and brand-operated programs.
What the ranking is
An editorial assessment by Mooselen, built from public information: company financial disclosures, funding announcements, credible press reporting, published market research, and companies' own statements. Where a company is scored, the inputs are disclosed scale (GMV, revenue, or funding where public), category position, and momentum over the trailing twelve months as reflected in public developments.
What the ranking is not
It is not an audit, a valuation, or investment advice. Private company figures are estimates only where a credible public source exists, and are labeled as estimates with the source named. Where no reliable figure is public, we say so rather than guess.
Corrections
Companies that believe a factual input is wrong can write to [email protected]. We correct verified factual errors promptly and note the correction on the entry.
Inaugural edition coming
The ranking publishes only once every entry traces to a public source under the methodology above. Until then, this page stands as the published method. No provisional or estimated ranking is shown.
