Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you subscribe or become a member, we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, and payment information processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store full card numbers. We also collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source, through privacy-respecting analytics.
How we use it
To deliver the publication and the newsletter you signed up for, to process Membership payments, to understand which coverage readers value, and to protect the site from abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers who run our email delivery, payments, and hosting, each bound to use it only to provide those services.
Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all non-transactional email immediately.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep members signed in and to measure aggregate readership. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correction of it, or deletion of it by writing to [email protected]. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection. If you are a California resident, you have the rights provided by the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Data retention
We keep subscriber data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes, then delete it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the change on this page and, for members, by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
